Although not gonna lie when I first heard it I thought that one of the lyrics were:

"What has to break before you make a decision because you never know which way to go just get off your ass and go home."

How can I order the physical EP or get the digital EP? I'm in the USA unfortunately...

You can buy an Australian iTunes gift card from eBay. That's what I do. It's 20 bucks but you will use it eventually when the album and stuff is released or other singles. I had some left over from the SOTOTW days and was able to get DWABH and the digital EP!

Just saw this an got super freakin' excited!!!!!!!!!!!! I wonder if it will be out on the 10th or some time after that? I hope this is the version performed on Sunrise tomorrow!

Adam I will try. The program is through a different law school in the US so I won't know anyone until I get there and can make some friends (hopefully Lol). If I can convince people to go I would love to see & visit Tasmania!

The last time Delta released an album Lady Gaga was unknown. 3 albums later, she's now the biggest popstar in the world. That is beyond crazy.

And yet I own 3 delta goodrem albums and 0 lady gaga albums.

I still think a double album with two 8-track CDs is not a bad idea for Delta at all. And as for the US, if she can get through to Hot AC and then subsequently bust into CHR/Pop radio, she has a good shot at opening for some big act. If Decca has her back, she can easily get to the status of Sara Bareilles, Matt Nathanson, Jon McLaughlin, etc.

Yeah but Sara had "love song" that if it didn't go #1 it was for sure top 5 and Matt had "Come on Get Higher" that also got pretty big as well. I think Jon is the only one that has developed a decent fan base while in a way staying under the top 40 radar. But in saying that I can totally see Delta working up to that type of fan base. I think that is completely her zone and the crowd that will connect the most with her music. I would throw Gavin DeGraw in that category as well. There is totally a fan base for this type of music, but to me this is a minimum for what Delta is capable of (yes I ended a sentence with a preposition...sue me). I have such high hopes for Delta's push in the US and can see this album doing amazing things over here. It really feels like her time, and at the risk of sounding cheesy it really does feel like the stars are aligning for this album. I don't know it just feels right.

I just can't wait. I'm so looking forward to seeing the way in which they choose to promote this album. I really think interviews are going to be a key element too. People need to get know her and see her personality. It's so hard to do when you only sing a 3 minute song at the end of a show. In the 2008 era both major television appearences she didn't do any type of interview, which I felt hurt her especially the View appearance those stay at home moms would've ate that shit up!

gez this is why I'm such a big fan. I have so much respect for someone who has this kind of attitude in that type of industry. Love it. Literally cannot wait for Dancing with a Broken Heart!!!

Yeah Karise has this thing pretty much locked in. I would be packing for my tour right about now if I were her.

^ But that's your opinion. I never really liked Emma all that much, and I thought Glenn deserved to go through. I loved his version of closer. I don't think Delta's decision was based on anything remotely to her "sex drive." I think it was based on the performance and the right decision. Viktoria would've been too risky. She is so hit or miss.

But there is a big difference between a similar start to a song (I thought they were slightly different) and accusing someone of "ripping it off." I thought the arcade fire thing was a bit of stretch but this is just ridiculous.

I agree about singing the song on the Voice. It would be nice exposure. But if she doesn't nail it completely-high note and all- it opens her up for a lot of harsh opinions and critique. How much risk against the possible benefits I don't know how those weigh yet. A different song like the 2nd single would be ideal, but it's probably a little early for that. So basically I don't know. I'd be nervous about it.



Does anyone know how close or far away from double platinum SOTOTW is? Just curious.
