apparently the list was released today and delta isn't on it? maybe she will just present!

The most worrying part for me is that she took literally a year to make her most amazing album ever (Mistaken Identity), and took 3 to make the less than amazing DELTA, so i don't even want to imagine what FOUR years will do!

Oh well, hopefully Sony crack down on her for album 5 and tell her to get a move on and finish it in 2 years, instead of letting her go off and do whatever.

I agree! Mistaken Identity is flawless and amazing, and I think Delta works best when her team and everyone are pushing her to release something (they may be doing that, but with everything we'e been seeing her doing lately it doesn't look like it)

Sure the album may have to now take a new direction because of the whole Brian thing and her relationship with Nick, but seriously I don't understand how so many other artists can continue to keep fans interested and Delta does NOTHING, as fans we need new music to tide us over until the album is released, otherwise we'll get sick of the same old music and eventually move on to other artists who have managed to release new song after new song, album after album.  

If we get a new song at least by Nov/Dec (not holding my breath) i'll be ok.. so we can only hope.

Tho as amazing as DELTA was the album was so diffrent from mistaken identity.. MI's more her, baring her soul, as she said "literal". DELTA's more mainstream pop, as good as it is... I feel it's more what sony wants Delta to perform rather than the way she wants it... Pressure from the top companies like sony would be telling her what to do to her songs... and really, THAT"S WRONG. Miss D has her own creativity and she must do things the way she intends. Everyone makes out that she WANTS the album delayed... and I strongly disagree... Delta had a very emotional year so far.. broke up with her fiancee of over 5 years, then try to break the US market with duets with Michael Bolton, fell in love again,... she needs to live a little too...

And maybe she has to write new songs for the album, after the break up with Brian.... she's smiling again after a major heartbreak... come on guys, give her room...

I can wait, cos I'm not ready to say goodbye to you Delta

Mistaken Identity was a far superior album, but as for blaming sony for wanting to over produce the album i think thats totally uncalled for, at the end of the days it's deltas album and i have complete faith that she would make the album the way she wanted to!

as for giving her time to live, seriously, our whole lives are spent living!! when has anyone ever taken large amounts of time off to just go 'live'?? we live every day! we work, we love, we hurt, we grown, we fall, we work hard, we go out - but we do all of these things simultaniously! delta is just another person, she puts her pants on the same way all of us do!!

I will always be behind delta as a fan, and even though I might not like everything thats going on, i will always defend her to the general public! for me it isn't about when the album is released, we've waited this long, seriously who cares - we will hear new music when we hear it! whats another few months?
the issue I have is that her words seem to be empty, who really believes anything she says these days?
and the lack of contact, i find the beyond frustrating

like i said, i'll always be here for delta, always, but that doesnt mean i love eveyrthign thats going on
