I love how broad her taste is too! Love how she maintains her own style and sticks to her own creativity and doesn't conform to musical trends. Yet she still advances in her own sound. 

 

Also saw a tweet reply to that journalist who keeps writing positive articles about Delta and mentioned something about "going to the studio" today and she should've said Hi. Pretty sure I saw something regarding Sony and not the Voice. 

 

So wondering if that means recording studio? Are there recording studios at Sony HQ? Maybe dumb question. Or maybe meetings with Sony?

 

But good to see she's so busy still...even during Voice.

Personally for me, I rather INR solo. Don't get me wrong, I didn't hate the duet, it just seemed more 'right' with Delta singing it solo. Hopefully this duet isn't another repeat of the INR feeling.

I don't think it will be since it's a cover, and not Delta's song.

Also don't forget, even though this is a cover, Michael has written with the likes of lady gaga and bob dylan and is highly respected in the music industry, particularly in the USA so it can only bring positive things for delta

and what 'positive things' did the I'm not ready duet bring

Umm... Dancing With The Stars? Today Show? Just because Delta didn't use that to launch her new album (it clearly wasn't ready), doesn't mean it didn't bring anything positive. She performed on two US shows, and sang Natural Woman alone on DWTS which made her look like some amazing Goddess sent from the heavens above to perform that song last minute and sing it well, having never performed it before.

The US album was released in February, so Delta's duet would've been last minute before the Aus release.

It was just announced that Jessica Mauboy is actually going to be in the studio on Ellen's show tomorrow for an interview. If Jess can do it, I'm sure Delta can get an interview on there too if she wanted. Would open up a lot of doors. 

IF? No, not really. Jess is on the show because her film The Sapphires is doing well and building up momentum in the US, that's why she is on the show for a proper interview.

Most of my competitions include international fans, and I go out of my way to do that (what with the whole one winner from Australia and one International). I'm sure most people know that. I'm sorry I can't do that in this case.

Maybe when she's 60, which means that she'll have about three more albums.

 

 

I reckon Mistaken Identity on it's own could write a musical in itself about the fight of cancer. She doesn't need 3 more albums, she has 4 albums, lots of b-sides, duets and lots of songs that have leaked  that are all good enough to make the cut for a musical.
