I have preordered mine from Australia, and will be purchasing the iTunes copy when it reaches the US, as well as any possible physical releases that they decide to have here.

Of course. Nowadays pretty much all single sales are from iTunes.

Its important to point out that the Biebs shot straight into #1 within 12 hours with his new single 'Boyfriend'.
I thought it was quite average but here we are and it'll probably grow on me.


Will be interesting to see when Delta's team will unleash the new single - March 30 or later. I mean JB's single may fade in popularity over next couple of days since all the hardcore fans will have got the single by now so it is a true testament to the quality of the song if the general public get on board too.

what do you mean worldwide? delta is only releasing the single in australia for the moment but it is expected she will take it internationally this year

This link is not 100% accurate but it gives a pretty good indication of how the iTunes chart is clocking up daily. Canadians Bieber and Carly Rae are doing much better than the rest of the chart, showing that it may not be slowing down anytime soon (since neither were #1 on the ARIA chart last week).


Delta really does need a lot of hype behind her to overtake these two tracks.

I honestly feel like Delta can easily hit #1 with this new song, but if it were released on Friday I actually feel like that would be silly.

Hold it off for one more week! Announce everything on Friday. Radio release on Monday, filled with interviews and everything leading up to a Saturday April 7 digital release. I say April 7 because that is what the charting week is; Saturday to Friday and I think that sales will be strong on the first day. But i guess from a record label point of view they see the first day as the slow day and then when it is already high on the charts, it will stay that way for the rest of the week. So maybe April 6 would be better. Plus I think the idea of creating hype for the song before its released is smart. Releasing it on Friday, with only pretty much us excited about it is gonna keep it away from the Top 50 on its first day...

that's fine, it doesn't matter if You can't buy more than one, You are still supporting Delta... that's what matters :)
