^^ yeah, i prefer physical copies of everything in general, but i'd pay extra for physical delta, i dont mind digital releases of people i dont care about that much lol

But I think the thing we need to collectively do as Delta fans, is purchase her singles both physically and digitally as digital sales are far more prominent now than physical singles. And sales wise we need to support Delta through both physical and digital!

^ cool... really im not a collector... a physical single cd doesnt really appeal to me, even physical cds dont anymore (but i do have all my delta albums on cd still, along with a select bunch of maybe 10 other cds that i would die without if i lost all my digital music).... im just not keen on importing a cd single if there is nothing new/ exlcusive to it when my aussie itunes is topped up and ready to go .. im just gonna wait and see if different bsides are on the itunes one and the cd one

Yeah got a bit of that. I'll admit I'm terrible at picking up the lyrics in simple songs. I love this song so much...it has a big anthem and motivational feel to it! Probably be used in a commercial one day...I really wanted to hear a snippet of the verse and it gave such an amazing lead into the chorus.

Once again I'm nervous about it's success, how the song will go with the general public who will be like "Oh Delta, she's back is she?" and then be like "Oh this doesn't sound like Delta" or whatever opinion they will form, whether positive or negative. I'd be rapt with a top 10 hit. But we'll find out reviews when it hits the airways on Thursday !!

Could just be the pace of the words being sung though too, but you know, its kind of like a bunch of phrases that go together more than a story terlling song IMO
And thats not an insult, i reckon we'll here it advertising channel 9's summer tv shows. I like it quite a bit and could actually hear it in a disney movie. its definitely radio friendly, I really enjoy it so far and cant wait to hear the rest of it.
Though i do hope there are some more I guess 'organic' sounding songs on here.... Hope I dont sound like a deuche saying tyhat

i really hope the radio release on thursday april 5 doesnt get ripped and shared to the extreme. i could imagine music lovers who arent necessarily delta fans leaking the shit out of it because a lot of people will be excited to hear the single worldwide. downloads is by far the most popular form of accessing music today, and i wouldnt be surprised if more people download illegally than legally.

Whereas when Vanessa Amorosi and Brian released This Is Who I Am and Just Say So to radio, they dont have the type of worldwide interest Delta does and their songs were being listened to on radio but werent on anyones ipods which was the reason why they performed so well on the chart.


We'll see what happens...

I have always said in the past that Delta needs more work on her breathing techiques and pronounciation. Also, most songs are jibberish the first time you hear them until you know the words... unless the music and singing is very, very clear

LOL, I was listening to it over and over and my friend, who's from Texas btw, says, "Is she singing in Australian or something?"

I don't she has much breathing technique issues. She does have minor enunciation issues but I find them really endearing, also some of them are really subtle accent affectations.
