The Voice Australia: Meet the Coaches

Channel 9 have released a new TV advert for The Voice Australia introducing the coaches. Delta, Joel Madden, Keith Urban and Seal all talk about The Voice in the video. Delta is seen the in the red dress released in Who Magazine recently.

Delta will be in Australia late February to film some of the pre-recorded live blind auditions in Sydney.

The Sydney Daily Telegraph says the video was filmed in Los Angeles last month. The paper also says the live shows will air in April.

Brian has just revealed that Nine will air The Voice directly against Australias Got Talent on Tuesday nights to capitalise on the 'Delta VS Brian' breakup.

WHAT THE FUCK!

Lets look at what happened with Biggest Loser V Excess Baggage. The same type of reality show that would attract a specific share of the market gets divided into two and in this case, My Kitchen Rules became the winner with Excess Baggage being axed and shifted to Go!

The same is gonna happen to The Voice except AGT is going to be the winner with 1.5million views + considering the show has become massively popular and more exciting in the last 2 years.

Excess Baggage is great, The Voice will be too but the decision to air it directly against AGT is stupid and will not only fuck up Nine's potential for 2012 but also make people think Brian is better than Delta and will anger Seal, Good Charlotte and Keith Urban who were looking forward to success in Australia.

I hope they follow the US marketing scheme in that case, which I suspect is what they'll do. They'll promote the shit out of it come March.
Also, I lol-ed at 1.5M viewers before realizing Australia is a much smaller population.

Haha so true. Ugh the thing is they did promote the shit out of failed show Excess Baggage, to the point where its still on billboards even though its axed, but thats not enough. Would be smart to screen it 3 weeks before AGT
