As the topic title says:
What are the best apps for macs and iPhones out there? Handy ones? Fun games? etc
Specifically, any one know of any good photo editing programs for macs?

Hmmm... iPhoto is ok (ish) for editing photos, but that should come already on a Mac... As for iPhones, it depends what you want, Twitter, Facebook, weather apps & I don't know about Aus but in the UK we have apps for train/bus times etc... Really handy :)

ha ha ... i am actually coming over to the uk very soon for a holiday and I have downloaded some cool apps for trains, the tube and things like heathrow airport... my internet usage bill is going to kill me....

Oh wow, cool (that you're coming to the UK) UK Train Times app is good but it costs around £5 from the App store, another good one is Traveline South & East if you're going to be in those parts, gives you bus times, train times and (I think) tubes too. :)
