Idea to stop forum spam

Hello Artin,

I got an idea that you may/may not like to stop the spam in the status update area, could you set it so that you need to make 10 posts before you can post an update? While it won't stop it altogether, it will at lease slow it down.

What do you think?

Yes that true, worse case, Artin may need to do what they done on celinedionforum.com, have a admin check every account that signs up and approve it.

Yeah, 'bot' usernames are usually really obvious, like 'yysdd' or "rebokshoedeal' lol
