Confirmed: Delta to be a coach on Australia's The Voice

Channel Nine held it's programming launch today and confirmed that Delta will be a coach on The Voice. The Voice is a reality talent show based on The Voice of Holland. Also confirmed to be coaches on the show: Keith Urban, Joel Madden and Seal.

How is she gonna promote her album globally when she's sitting in a channel nine studio... ???

Crap i was gonna audition for the show but didn't damn it
could have been mentored by delta hahaha... :(

When does the show air? If it's before middle of next year...I say it's perfect if she is in Australia for 6 or so months to get all the promotion in, she will do radio interviews for the show, she can also promote the new music, sing on the show. She will be back in Australian's T.Vs. No doubt she can win back people who may have forgotten about her. I hope the show is successful here! Good decision in my opinion.

If she had to choose a reality show, I'm glad she chose this one because it's more about the mentors than it is about the contestants.
And a true superstar can do it all, she could jet between LA and Sydney ALL the time if she wanted to.

I haven't seen the show previously but judging by Twitter account for the show, the auditions take place before they get to the first stage? If so, then there's a few weeks less, unlike Idol, where you had to sit through days upon days of auditions.

EDIT - Just saw the DD FB post...seems the shows filming isn't too restrictive in terms of promotion.
