This should hopefully be a good indicator to Sony that there is something to work on. It doesn't sound like much but it really is charting on word of mouth alone to be this high is actually quite astounding. I hope this is the kick up the backside Sony needs to get her here to promote.

It is a great sign that she does have an international fanbase... I'm sure the sales are only equating to a few hundred, but still! Imagine if the song was promoted! I do wonder though if she even has a deal in the UK anymore.

Sony Music Ireland tweeted last night that her song was released in Ireland last week and yesterday in the UK...... which we all know, but I guess it does signal the idea that this IS the release.

I'm hoping it's a "Lets see how it does releasing it to Itunes with no promo and see what we've got to work with" type of thing. I don't know how to get the top 1000 on other countries, but with the UK I do feel encouraged by what's happening so far. If it can stay top 500 in Itunes throughout the week, then I think that equates to roughly 1000 sales, which is good going for a popstar who hasn't released anything here for 7 years and this has come out with only fans knowing about it. I'd love for it to build, I really wish it would get into the top 200 and then it would have an automatic lift as it would be on the main music page, so as her fans we need to be doing all we can to promote Delta, even if it's just links from twitter -

if they honestly think that releasing with no promo will work as an effective international strategy they are so deluded at sony.. at some stage, after the voice, Delta will have to tour for promo purposes..

but i hope they are just trying their luck to see if it might take off by itself..

honestly.. i think that is the single on import.. albeit at a RIDICULOUS price!!

i think the single was called a maxi 5.. and the 5 is in that listing.. just my hunch.. doubt the album will be called SOTOTW .. too much of a mouthful for an album im guessing

Ich hab das schon länger verfolgt - so i know that it's just the single! They stated that it would be released today but it was actually never in stock lol Fail!

So it seems that the singles has got it's official release - based on what Sony Music Ireland tweeted. I thought I would check Sony Music UK but their last tweet was 21st Dec 2010. I doubt Sony have given it much thought, itunes has the record so perhaps they have the right to distribute it globally if there is no plan for it to be released officially.

Maybe we'll just get the new music available on itunes catalogue but no promo's and no tours

Yay was so excited to see SOTOTW on iTunes!! I'm not sure it really means anything tbh...ITL was put on iTunes over here as well as the delta album and look what didn't happen there. I just think its one of those things! I'm just happy that we get the chance to legally download it over here and show delta, Sony and her management that delta does have fans still over here supporting her and her music!

I really hope this isn't Sony's idea of re-introducing Delta's music to Europe Without promo it will flop for sure I guess we just have to wait something we are good at and see what develops...
