It is great news, but I'd rather it be a new album or a new song being performed, then I'd really squeal. But I highly doubt it will be a new song...*cries*

Maybe do a show somewhere for her fans and then go release in the US and do promo there while other songs are released here
then she can come back and tour and make it a world tour going to the US and UK...


I also hope she brings nick, though in the sam way i want it to be about the new music not the new relationship...

however it'd be nice for him to be the tag along this time hahaha and see how huge she is in AUS

I agree, I think ideally this would be the best way to go. It is a bit optimistic but hey - she's had so long to work on this album so hopefully it's really payed off!

I hope she leaves Nick in America haha or if she does bring him then yeah like you said... focus on the MUSIC!

This pleases and excites me, HOPEFULLY she puts her heart and soul into it and gives us SOMETHING NEW for the love of GOD! I'm really not into the Innocent Eyes nostaglia shit right now. NEW MUSIC PRIOTY NO. 1!

Others give her fans new shit all the time, bout time she gave us new shit!

I think there is still a chance Seven might pick it up - considering Seven have been a huge winner in 2011 I think it would be a really great longlasting partnership..

Seven has been doing so well on Sunday nights with US dramas Bones and Castle, I don't think they will be rested for the ARIAs. If Seven were to pick up the ARIAs I reckon the event will be shown on 7mate.

When the nominations are announced we should find out when the tickets go on sale.

How well? I assumed they would make room for it, I think Seven could do the ARIAs unlike any other network considering they are killing it with X Factor. If the ARIAs on Channel V, i'd be really disappointed. If its on ABC, it should be on Ch V as well.

I just cant accept that the ARIAs - a much loved Australian award ceremony - wont be given the respect it deserves. I was at the ARIAs last year and it was really amazing, apparently on TV it came off bad but oh well. We have talent to recognise, Gotye in particular, and he should get the credit he deserves from free to air TV

I agree Brad. I don't have pay TV and it really annoys me when certain things aren't shown on free-to-air TV ... especially the ARIAs.
