I think there needs to be a word filter configured on here to stop the use of inappropriate language on this forum. I have noticed that there has been some foul language used on this forum recently, and being Delta's Official Forum - for all ages, where they can feel safe. There should be a filter configured, that would blank out any appropriate language used in a post or topic title/description.

I don't think so.. I think those who use this forum at least are teenagers and adults, and unless we actually know of younger members signing on (which I doubt has happened yet) then there is no need.

We shouldn't have to wait for someone younger to come on here to stop use bad language, we should be setting the example. If the people on here really are adults, let's start acting that way then.

not everyone swears. What we have to understand is that this is an all-ages community, and be respectful of that.
You're not going to walk up to your Grandparents or your 6y/o cousin and say "How the **** are you?", you respect the company you are around.

I wouldn't mind if we had a filter on some words. There are some words that is no longer necessary to bleep out. But I don't want to read F Bombs on a normal basis.

I would kind of hope that no 7-12 year olds are allowed online without parental supervision, let alone allowed on a forum with people who are in their late teens to early 20s and older. I usually watch my mouth around certain people, I admit that. I swear on here if I feel it's necessary, and if I do I believe it wouldn't be too foul mouthed as I keep that to places like twitter where my friends know how I speak.

At the end of the day, if there were to be a word filter on this forum, people would find a way around it as they did on Dgof.

I don't see the point, honestly. Now, if there was an ability to have the filter but turn it off (or on) if you wanted then that'd be different but it doesn't bother me to see any foul language. And, pardon my French, I usually say whatever the fuck I want to whenever I want to.

Then that is the parent's fault for being a lazy parent and letting the internet be their child's babysitter. It shouldn't be up to us to make sure that their child isn't exposed to rough language. No one on here is posting porn or inappropriate images - the occasional curse word is, most likely, not going to ruin that kid's outlook on life forever and turn them into some horrible thug.

Chances are if their parents don't care enough to not supervise them while they're online, that they already know these swear words and use them, plus worse and more often.

Honestly I haven't seen anyone randomly reply to some post and say ( WARNING - GONNA SWEAR BRO) fucking cock fucking sucking bitch slut whore fucking cunt.
One word every so often isn't going to kill you or ruin anyone. And as far as I'm concerned, if younger people who are on here are going to start swearing just because they saw it online on a forum, then they're idiots who don't have a brain of their own. Suck it up.
