I laughed at the way they were eliminated! But it was good that they could just enjoy their last moments on the race having a coffee together! :) I then went on to say that they should have just gone on the run! :) hahahah! Don't think they would get very far!

Channel Seven has confirmed that The Amazing Race: Australia ends in Perth.
Since the show was filmed last November, there have been rumours of a WA leg after Amazing Race backpacks were spotted at the airport.
After a journey taking in four continents, 12 countries and 22 other cities, three teams will race to the final pitstop on Heirisson Island, in the episode airing on Monday, August 1. The winners will collect a cheque for $250,000.
Details about the Perth tasks are sketchy, but we do know the teams will head to Fremantle Prison, and our bet is the underground tunnels will form part of the challenge.
After last night's episode in historic Israel, four teams remain in the race: WA models Sam and Renae, surfers Tyler and Nathan, father and son Jeff and Luke and cowboys Matt and Tom.
Before they get to Perth, the teams compete in Singapore where Renae is once again forced to confront her crippling fear of heights in a 55-storey tightrope crossing. If she and Sam make it through, it would give them the advantage of racing in their home town in the final.
In 2006, Perth featured in season nine of the US version of The Amazing Race. In a blow for WA tourism, contestants said it was the worst city in the world for finding a taxi.

Of course the Australian version starts and ends in Australia :P

Sam & Renae and Tyler & Nathan have appeared on many media outlets lately to promote the show (partly because they are young and attractive). Their latest appearance was on Hot30 on Austereo's Today network (2DayFM, Fox, SAFM etc.) tonight.

Perth part-time models Sam Schoers and Renae Wauhop last night became the first team through to the final leg of The Amazing Race Australia.
They will have a home-ground advantage, with the finale taking them from Singapore to Perth and Fremantle.
After finishing fourth in last week's non-elimination episode, the WA team arrived first at the pit stop in last night's episode and avoided incurring a half-hour time penalty.
Schoers and Wauhop flew from Tel Aviv via Rome to Colombo in Sri Lanka, despite having been told the connection could be dodgy and there would only be about an hour between flights.
On the same flights were surfers and models Nathan Jolliffe and Tyler Atkins, who implied to father-and-son team Jeff and Luke Downes and laid-back farmers Matt Nunn and Tom Warriner they were flying via Mumbai.
The farmers and father and son flew via Jordan and ended up with a six-hour poolside break at a hotel.
Despite finishing first last week, Nunn and Warriner were eliminated last night after a sewing challenge got the better of Nunn.
Warriner said he held no grudges against the surfers for misinforming them.
"Yes, I think they definitely snuck off but we were not too worried about that; they were doing it all trip, that's how they are always up the front...good on them," Warriner told The West Australian's Access All Areas.
Warriner grew up on the historic Newcastle Waters Station in the NT and before the series was working at Argyle Downs station on the WA/NT border.
He is now studying for a business degree on the Gold Coast while Nunn is back on a sheep and cattle station outside Birdsville in outback Queensland.
The pair, friends for seven years, had not spent much more than a day together before setting off on the Race. Nunn had never left Australia.
"We took it in our stride really well, nothing worried us at all," Warriner said. "You could not tell he had never left the country."
Warriner says travelling to South Africa, seeing the wildlife and "eating local biltong" was a highlight.
What did he think of Seven running subtitles whenever Nunn spoke?
"I think that is something everyone makes a comment about that is definitely required," he laughed. "He is half deaf and could not understand half what I was saying."
The finale of The Amazing Race Australia airs Monday, August 1 at 9pm on Seven.

WA glamour girls Sam Schoers and Renae Wauhop may have finished runners-up in the inaugural season of Channel 7's the Amazing Race Australia last night but today they are grinning like winners.
The close friends and part-time models came second behind NSW team Nathan Jolliffe and Tyler Atkins in a tense final leg of the race from Cape Peron in Rockingham to Perth's Heirisson Island.
But Schoers and Wauhop said they weren't disheartened to have just missed out on the $250,000 prize money for first place.
"We weren't really disappointed - we'd just raced around the world and we were running to the finish line and everybody was clapping, it was a pretty good feeling," Schoers said.
The bubbly, blonde pair watched the episode with close family and friends including Wauhop's boyfriend, West Coast Eagle Mark Nicoski, at Channel 7's Perth studios last night.
And while they didn't take home a tangible prize for their overall efforts, the girls said that their once in a lifetime experience was payment enough.
Schoers is keen to join the cast of Dancing with the Stars next season and has been asked to compete in the Chris Mainwaring Legends Match on October 8 at Patersons Stadium.
Wauhop is in talks with Australian dance label LNG Music to release her first single and has confirmed she will perform at Telethon in October.

THEY travelled more than 50,000km across 12 countries in just four short weeks on pure adrenaline but the hardest thing was keeping their appearance on The Amazing Race a secret.
Last night Bondi surfers Nathan Jolliffe and his mate Tyler Atkins were finally allowed to celebrate their win with friends, family and fans.
"We finished filming late last year so pretty much the hardest thing was not telling anyone we were on the show," Nathan, 25, said.
"It was fun watching the episodes because we didn't really remember what happened."
Friends for 10 years, the boys said they had next to no sleep in filming.
"Just one trip to LA for the average person would be enough to make them jet lagged but we had flights like that every second day with all those challenges in between," Nathan said.
"You are running on straight adrenaline. All you are doing is thinking about the next clue and what you are going to do next. You don't have time for jet lag."
The pair beat 10 other teams to win the first Australian series of the show, pocketing $250,000 prizemoney between them.
"The best thing about Tyler was he just jumped straight into any situation without thinking first and I think that helped us a lot," Nathan said yesterday.
"I'm the opposite - I like to sit down and plan stuff out. In a way we really levelled each other out."
And to make sure they didn't let the cat out of the bag before last night's final episode, Nathan and Tyler spent a holiday together in Bali - ironically the first destination of the reality adventure series.
"We had a pretty big incentive not to tell anyone," Nathan laughed, "A $250,000-plus incentive. But we thought let's just get out of the country as it was easier to keep the result hidden."

When I was in the city yesterday I saw Mel, the shorter sister from Adelaide.

I had to look twice to make sure it was actually her!
