Hey everyone,

I was late on the scene and discovering the amazing Lucie Silvas. She has a bigger prominence throughout Europe and had her major success around the same time Delta did in 2003 with her debut hit 'What You're Made Of. She has released 2 albums, 'Breathe In' & 'The Same Side' and her forthcoming album is due late this year. She released a song to fans called 'Roots' which was released two months ago which is a taste of the new album style and. I've provided a link below to the new song and her debut song. I strongly recommend you look into her other music because she is simply amazing. Also, Delta and her are good friends i should add. If you were aware of her from the beginning then maybe this thread can make you fall in love with her all over again.

Lucie is amazing and so underrated, can't wait for the new album :D

If the rest of the album is as good as Roots, we are in for a huge treat :)

Lucie Silvas is so good! And she has the same kindness as Delta. I can see why they are friends.
I followed Lucie's music from the start. Both her albums are great and I can't wait for the new one "Letters to Ghosts". If you wanna hear 2 more fantastic songs from her new album you can watch them through these links :

I love Lucie so much. She's my favourite singer. Her music is so amazing. Infact, I'm listening to Almost from The Same Side now. Never been as excited for an album as I am for Letters To Ghosts. :)

The album's been completed, Lucie just needs to work on a way to get it to us. She's, sadly, not signed anymore.

I loved Lucie's debut album but The Same Side was a little too mellow, downtrodden for me, it lacked some energy/ upbeat numbers... it was kinda more folky... still i loved last year and something about you on that album....

sheesh... it was march 2007 when she last had an album .... though she was dropped that year ... i hope she gets picked up by a good label, not one of the massive ones like sony/ universal because they will only chuck her if she has modest success this time...

i love roots and im keeping close eye for updates ... she seemed to be meeting labels last month, so hopefully a deal can be hammered out soon, it would be nice to see her make a big comeback , she was quite sucessful in the uk despite not cracking the top with her debut album, it somehow managed to go platinum...

Its supposed to be later this year but I have a feeling its going to be 2012 before we get a new album! I love both her albums ... I wonder if there will be any songs written by Delta on her new album?! xxx
