Firstly I just want to say how unfortunate that Sony closed down the official forum about like, 9 years of history and memories.
But the new forum looks really, really good.

Secondly, I don't mean to make a negative post but it's such a weird feeling to think of where Delta was in 2003-2006 to where she is now... This isn't by any means a put down; I still love Delta for making the music she did in her first two albums. But I just can't help look at her differently now that she's dating an 18 year old. I just won't have that same love/respect for her that I did before, she's definitely changed. Some people will like her more and some will like her less, for me it's definitely less... It's also sad to see Delta's media credibility change from an elegant, respected singer-songwriter to a famewhore Jonas-girlfriend (Obviously that's not true, but that's what a lot of media see her as.)

Anyway, I will thank Delta for giving me Innocent Eyes and Mistaken Identity, those two albums really did dominate my life when they came out. Thanks for the memories Delta, and somehow I hope you will return to the way you were but I doubt it.

I agree with this to some extent. I do think it's sad that the media perception has definitely changed from someone respected to someone who's riding the coattails of her boyfriend. She has changed; people change as they grow up. They realize that they have different needs than they did when they were younger, and they're able to find themselves. Saying that your respect for her has lessened because she's changed is saying that you don't appreciate the fact that she's grown up. No one stays stagnant. While I don't like Delta and Nick as a couple, my respect for her hasn't changed. I do question her judgment, but it's not my place to step in. My respect hasn't gone away and will not go away; it's harsh not to like someone for coming into their own and growing up.

In This Life came on the radio at work today - I hadn't listened to it for such a long time and it was this weird uplifting feeling (not sure if I've used the right words, but meh) hearing it again. I was having a bit of a tiring morning and when it came on, it just made me happy. I'd forgotten the feeling that listening to Delta can give me. I know this sounds SO LAME. But I just wanted to share, as it was really nice

According to E! News! Nick Jonas can really help her career in the United States! Honestly, it is strange to hear such things coming from people who are just hearing of her and only know bits and pieces of her journey!

(Insert "Huh!" ..."What?!" moment here!)

Nick Jonas can help her career? What does that mean? As far as I can hear Goodrem doesn't need anyone to make America understand how talented she as a singer and a story-teller! I am at a stand-still as to knowing where she is headed with her music. Her personal life and her persona seem to have hit a high-note but I want to hear Delta hit a high-note! One Day.... I will hear a new Goodrem song! The question is... when!

On E! News tonight, Nick came across as a real prick. They were talking to his Hairspray costar Marissa Jaret Winokur, who plays opposite him. She kisses him in the show, and while interviewing her, she said that she's been getting hate on twitter from his fans, and she said she has to explain to everyone that she's married with a baby and isn't interested in Nick. At this point, Nick was there, and the interviewer said that Marissa was getting twitter hate, and he laughed and said, "my fans are passionate."

Don't do anything that would tell your fans to respect Delta and Marissa. Just laugh and be an ass about it.

God, and he is incredibly smug in interviews, people pay him compliments and he just nods. His fans were brutal to Marissa on twitter. All because she tweeted that she kissed a Jonas. And this is a woman who is 20 years older than him, happily married and with a 3 year old son. I can't even imagine the hate Delta would get if she posted something like that.
