Just saw that this will be airing tomorrow night, and I hadn't heard of Delta being there or performing. Has anything been said or has she declined to focus on the album in Australia?

"Stand Up to Cancer" has been talked about in America for a fairly long while now. Many high-profile people will be attending the event in honor of those who have been affected by this disease. On Friday, September 7th all of the networks will come together in the support of one special that brings awareness for the need to “Stand Up to Cancer” and find a cure. On Wednesday many stars were announced to participate in the event such as:
Eric Stone (Modern Family), Ray Romano (Everybody Loves Raymond), and Felicity Huffman (Desperate Housewives) They will be joined by other A-listers such as... Emma Stone (The Help), Jessica Biel (Total Recall) and Michael Douglas, who later this year was told that he is now tumour-free but not yet cured of late-stage throat cancer.
Singers from every genre, from the likes of Taylor Swift to Tim McGraw and Coldplay to Alicia Keys are set to perform during the special, and patients participating in "Stand Up to Cancer" trials will share their experiences in hopes of raising awareness of the key to early detection and immediate care.
"Stand Up to Cancer" was co-founded by ‘‘Spider-Man’’ movie producer Laura Ziskin, who produced its first two telethons in 2008 and 2010. Ziskin lost her seven-year fight against breast cancer last year.

I visited the website two weeks ago and it did not mention Delta's involvement this year. So it looks like she may not be going.

Johnson - I am sure you are refurring to last year. I doubt she will be attending this year if she had I am sure we would've heard about it by now. Delta was tweeting photos and her thoughts about the night last year. I am sure the site had not been updated!

Just becuase she is in Los Angeles doesn't mean that she will be making an appearance to "Stand Up 2 Cancer" She is supposed to be filming her music video for the next single "Wish You Were Here" and that is why she could be in America. Also, her album is due within the next month in Australia so I am sure she is preparing for a release in the states fairly soon. I find it hard to believe that she would be at the event.

Yeah I said she won't be haha. I mean she just tweeted she's in la and she said she just got in the car or whatever so I'm assuming she's just getting settled in and the even was tonight, so unless she went straight from lax to stand up for cancer, she's not going.
