Glad we know that it's the third single (Touch may be next I'm guessing) but the fact that DWABH has flopped means I'm guessing WYWH will be released soon, maybe around the same time as the album?

I really love the song but I'm a bit worried it won't do very well as a single.. The way she has performed the song at recent events it just sounds more like an album track to me to be honest. Just like "You are my rock" for example. But of course we haven't heard the radio version yet, so maybe it's too early to say this. I just hope the third single will do well, after DWABH not doing as well as it defenitely deserved to!

Thanks for that, can definitely see a release next month then. So soon but if they want the album to be a success I can see why they're moving onto single #3.

Why not "touch"?

I'd rather Touch.
Touch is catchy, radio friendly, relatible, easy to play (not goign to have people crying on the side of the road) and you know. MY LIFE!..It's also really easy to explain and lead into the concept of this particular album.

I dunno, talk about going from making a song edited to become a hit on the radio by adding a random beat to picking a song which is extremely personal and private and kind of not radio friendly at all.
It could work, but chances are, not!

They are obviously going for a ballad before the album to show off it's different sides. So far the singles have had no connection what so ever, and I think this will continue that. Had they released Touch, it'd be yet another upbeat sort of song straight after two other upbeat songs.

At the moment the album is feeling more like DELTA (not cohesive, a bit of everything) rather than a great cohesive album like Innocent Eyes, where you could hear all the singles and tell they belonged on the same album.

I think it's a great choice as the third single. Very relatable and her amazing voice stands out. Was a bit misty eyed when she first performed it live; I hope that it strikes a chord with the general public as well.

I'm guessing this single will be on sale before the album, leading into it. Definately a strong song to lead in with.

Terrible single choice

Ok, i absolutely love this song but as I've said before (I think Toastie, someone else and I discussed that somewhere) I think that it's too personal... like, I wouldn't want to hear this song on the radio all the time, play it all the time with all the memories connected. I thought it would be somehow like maybe Extraordinary Day to Delta and you know how often we've heard that one. So I'm just a little surprised. Also not sure how it will chart, it's such a beautiful song but I think I can speak for my country when I say that it wouldn't chart too well just because...it's too special? But here's to hoping that the video is amazing. Still love the DWABH one <3

Edit: I also kinda thought we'd get a 'new' song Like, a song she hasn't played before since there are so many on the album. I think COTU would have been a nice choice, too but maybe it's really only an album opener as assumed in another thread!

I must admit I cried the first time I heard this song. I think it definetly reminds you of that person you have lost in your life. If it makes this connection with the rest of Australia this song could be massive. I have listened to it many more times now and love it. Its a risky choice for the third single so lets hope it pays off unlike DWABH.

Whilst it is a particularly risky song to release as a single, i feel that this song could really connect with the audience. I think we'll be pleasntly surprised with how well this song will go.
