I love the fact her songs are always open to interpretation, to give a different feel or meaning

I thought it was "Waiting for the weather" instead of "Waiting for forever" a few times in the song. I can't remember which parts.

I'm probably wrong. It would be hard to tell because it wouldn't sound much different.

It's amazing what you hear. I hear things and they don't make sense. Her diction needs improving. Just have to find logic to find a meaning from the lyrics. Lyrics do have to make sense.....well with most artists.

I heard First and Last and Kiss and Touch and Under My Bed and stuff in Touch, but I just ignored them cuz it didn't sound right in the song I thought she was singing. Now shit makes a whole lotta sense, but THEN, it was hell!

I think it's "a shadow boxing with a trick of light", so basically there is a shadow fighting (boxing) to cover up a glimmer of light, like evil fighting against good? That's how I understood it anyway

I took "A shadow-box... trick of light..." meaning that she felt protected at one moment and then all of a sudden a light went into that display box and it was no longer something that could be protected.
