WE are beginning to think Darren McMullen and Delta Goodrem were Born To Lie.

The pair are clearly an item, with this photograph of The Voice stars the latest pap shot doing the rounds out of Los Angeles.

It is understood the couple enjoyed a late-night rendezvous in their La-La Land base this week, with Goodrem turning up at Soho House around midnight to hook up with McMullen, who was out having dinner with Aussie skateboarder Corbin Harris.

Goodrem stuck around for an hour before driving her man back to her Hollywood mansion, where he is believed to have stayed the night.

McMullen, in town last week for The Voice Reach Out televised concert, has emphatically declared they are not dating and are just good friends.

"We are not dating," McMullen said.

"We are just good friends. We have been good friends for six years but we're definitely not dating."

Well, we are not sure what good friends means in McMullen's book - "Goodrem friends with benefits" sounds more likely.

It is believed Goodrem's management is not too happy about the blossoming romance and has told the pair to take things slowly since they first got together while filming The Voice.

Goodrem, who has been working on her latest single, Dancing with a Broken Heart - are you listening Brian McFadden? - has a new album due out next month.

To be quite honest, its nobodies business if they are dating or not.

A new album next month? No way. Sept 7 maybe? (I doubt they'd put her mid-September up against Pink, because let's face it, Delta will lose out on that one, plus Sept 14 is extremely crowded for new big name releases - Pink, Nelly Furtado, The Killers, Muse, Pet Shop Boys and The Presets are all set to release new albums that day. So at this stage, I'd put money on September 7.

If they are just now editing "Dancing with a Broken Heart" I could see the album being released on August 3, 2012 and the album released in the last week of August. I feel she will ride the singles out for as long as possiable in order to reach chart success! Fans are anxiously awaiting her new album meaning they will listen to the single and purchase the single before the album comes out. I think she is doing the right thing releasing two singles before the album. Hopefully, we will see her consecutive 4th album hit number one on the charts. With two songs being released I think the album will find more success!

I don't get why they make such a big deal of who she dates, I mean I went to high school with girls who had more boyfriends in one year than Delta has (publicly acknowledged) since neighbours days..
I thought it was pretty normal for people to date and OMG scandal alert *spend a night* with someone they're dating in todays society... The media shits me off sometimes
