Lunch date! Delta Goodrem and new boyfriend Darren McMullen share a joke over romantic meal

They were rumoured to have taken their relationship from professional to personal earlier this month after being spotted together at the Lady Gaga concert in Sydney.

And it seems things are going well for Delta Goodrem and The Voice Australia host Darren McMullen, as the pair were spotted looking smitten during a lunch date at The Grove in Los Angeles yesterday.

Former Neighbours actress Delta giggled as she shared a joke with her new beau, with the pair joined by a male friend as they enjoyed their meal.

The 27-year-old actress wore an unusual pair of colourful printed trousers, teamed with a black vest top and black sandals with tan accessories.

And her smile certainly said it all, with the actress beaming with delight as she made the most of the day out.

Delta and McMullen were first romantically linked last month when they were spotted at the Gaga gig.

According to the PopSugar Australia website, the pair were openly 'exchanging kisses and holding hands for all to see' at the concert in Sydney.

The couple joined fellow The Voice coach Urban and his wife Nicole Kidman, who was celebrating her 45th birthday.

Rumours of a relationship first came when McMullen defiantly defended The Voice judge Goodrem on several occasions when she was accused by one of her teammembers of not spending enough time mentoring her.

McMullen became single last year when he split with his fiancée Rechelle Lee, while Delta's most recent relationship was with toyboy Nick Jonas.

Does anyone else find it weird that at all these supposed dates, they're accompanied by a male friend? So many beard jokes...

She's been wearing Patiala pants since 2009, she's actually one of the few people I've seen pull it off to a degree.

Exactly.

Their "dates" always seem to be accompanied by other people. Makes me think it's more like a 'just friends' kinda thing going on. :)
