^ Luke said that she is referring to ANOTHER version when talking about the Robyn/Kate Bush version. I said that DWABH sounds nothing like kate beign a massive Kate fan and Luke replied

Green eyes I totally just agreed with your whole post! You always sum things up so well

It does seem odd to put out DWABH as a dance number and it not be what the album will sound like. You may get some fans for the time being but some may defect when they hear the rest of the album and it's not what they expected! Hopefully this won't happen but does seem a strange approach.

Ah cool... that is so promising .. id love love love it if this radio edit isnt the (only) version on the album.... thanks for clearing that up ... i was wondering why people seemed so sure the album version will be different

Thanks... I know im prone to over analysing these things but thats my feel on this whole DWABH dance edit thing... it came as a total surprise to me last week when i first heard it and i just wonder is this it ... sony's grand plan is to release a song that is a one off and in no way is representative of the album .. seems barmy to me...

We're all prone to over analyze when it comes to Delta

but i totally know what you mean, does seem an odd move on sony's part to put out a single that will not be the same on the album and does not represent what the artist will be offering with other releases and album! i cant see their logic but there you go. I just hope the single does well in whatever format so at least there is a wave of success for the album to ride in on.

i think its a clever marketing way to get people to see delta maybe in a different light, kind of like Cher, she's done a LOT of genres really though they;'ve all been rooted in pop, she still has maintained a 'sound' while experimenting, unlike others who 'reinvent' if that makes sense.

And I think this is a way of (if this is a positive chapter but filled with emotionally hard/ sad songs) putting out the ones that will get the least back lacsh because of how much she's copped since the voice...
You know if she released a full on tear my heart out break up song first it would look like she's releasing it right before Brian's wedding (just how the tabloids like the create shit over nothing, thats what i think anyway)
