I have not watched commercial TV for at least a decade, and no, im not even close to middle age! I can honestly say that The Voice is the first show I've watched since last century, I never thought such a high standard of musicians could unite in such an interesting way...an unexpected phonic coaxing by main stream television.
Firstly, off the bat, Delta, your performance last night with Rachel was WORLD STANDARD. You Got Me!!!!! For the first time I appreciate your exquisite artistry. I will definately save up to see you in concert, after last night I would adore to hear more of you!
Your performance with Rachel was an example of the refined music i switch to, (instead of most of the mindless popular smut served to me on popular radio).
To be honest, I sincerely love Rachel and your professional coaching, but I've been spellbound by Karise from the word go. Seal's philosophies amused and sometimes moved me, he's obviously a great artist too. I think that Karise was destined to win regardless of who was coaching her, this is why I think that your experience has been so profound and that "winning" was irrelevent. Your performance last night was as universal and timeless as Shakespeare. I played it at least four times..immaculate..seamless...beautiful sound!
Delta, who cares your team didn't "win", you have reached out to perhaps millions, and converted a great majority into appreciating your gift and talent.
I think you were probably the most technically astute of all the judges....WIN WIN WIN, and your personality has had everything to do with me becoming a viewer on the amazing journey called The Voice...WIN WIN WIN.
Finally, Rachel, only the BEST singers in the WORLD deserve to sing 'The Prayer'....and you were completely brilliant next to Delta! Ignore all the media's cruel binging with superficial and idiotic comments about you being a "mini me". You are a superb artist in your own right, and you have deeply moved millions. My nieces saw you in Adelaide and I'm so relieved they were excited to see a real artist perform beautiful music, you are also a phenomenon worth appreciating.
Grazie Signorina Delta, MOLTO BELISSIMO!!!
Light and thanks, YouGotMe xx
