Try drinking lots of water as well. Medication is also helpful, are you on any meds?

Make a hot water bottle and place it on your belly. Make sure it isn't TOO HOT though. You can wrap a pillow case or a towel around the bottle if it is too hot to touch.
Try drinking lots of water as well. Medication is also helpful, are you on any meds?
I completly agree with you, that's what i do.
I had a surgery last month because i had 2 tumors in my ovaries, and before that i had impossible pain when i was with my period, i actually had to be hospitalized once and they said that i couldn't have anymore meds and i still felt everything,so i know a bit about pain, and a hot water bottle usually helps in a normal period situation. And lots of chocolate too!

Last time I had my period I just laid in bed for hours in the most utter agony I have ever felt. It was the worst pain I have ever had with it. Nothing helped it. Not a hot water bottle, not paracetamol liquid...NOTHING. I honestly felt I was going to die. I tried with all my power to deal with it and think of something else till it went away. Which was HOURS later. Eventually I felt it calm down and I went to sleep and woke up with no pain. God..was so awful. I'm hoping it doesn't come back this month
unfortunately, it seems it is hereditary as my mum had it bad. I get so embarrassed when I have to haul a hot water bottle around with me everywhere at home though and my step father has to know....but oh well. If I go out in public it is just so hard to deal with as I don't have a bottle anymore and I'm walking around feeling like I could fall over. It sounds exaggerated, but it is really that bad for me.
