^I agree. the Innocent Eyes CD looked like she had personally spend time thinking about every single detail, it was so cared for and personal. CotU/ Christmas look more like she sent off the songs to the record label like 'go for it!' and someone at Sony got their intern to fix it.

was listening to Mistaken Identity today and with the line "Or so I thought until the monster crawled into my bed" I couldn't help but think that she should be singing that about Brian now XD

^^agreed! It seems like she's afraid to get overexposed again like 07, when she was everywhere (in aussie..) and people got a bit sick of her. However, it would be better to be overexposed (her album at least) than to completely stay off the radar. Sure people can't hate you if they don't see you, but they also can't support you or get to know your album. Also, she could leave the product endorsements rather than the music promotion....

Oh pulease... It's one of the best albums of this year, who cares what the album cover looks like?! Don't judge a book by its cover and all that

I would have loved a BIG piano in Speed of Life... But else I think it's fine without the dominant piano

Since she's been performing it from the beginning, like WYWH and DWABH, the other singles, I reckon Touch will be a single. I love it, I just hope Australia will too

I just put the album again after a week of Christmas music and falling completely in love with it again. I agree that I want the classic Delta sound from her and I wasn't necessarily hoping/ waiting for this but that doesn't take away from the 'fact' that is a really great album (though it holds some clichés I could have done without)

In Other news, my Christmas EP has reached me in Europe not only in time for Christmas but also in time for the Press Play! Yeay! (if the world does end somewhere this weekend, at least I got to listen to it in full on CD before that!)

From what I've heard so far (Itunes previews) I don't dislike it at all, but it doesn't feel very christmassy and my biggest issue is that it is very 'restless'. you can't put it up as calm background music and in this time of the year I would have preferred something more soothing...
