We have to understand not everyone will love it and have perceived ideas about Delta from what's been reported in the media and their own opinions. Who cares what they think. If they like it - good on them, if they dont - so be it, doesn't matter. The chart success is the real indicator. But at the end of the day us fans who are always there have new music so more for us

I was so excited getting up this morning to hear Sitting On Top Of The World. It didn't dissapoint. I LOVE it. Amazing.
Sounds like a great upbeat song.
It will do brilliantly in the charts. I think it will do amazingly in the UK as well.

So excited for it to be released.
I wish I could fly over for the instores. Hopefully Delta will come to the UK and promote her new single/album.

At first...i felt a bit lost...as i couldn't hear Delta and piano sound in it...
then when i stopped listening, i started looping the song (though i had just heard 1-2 times)
it just grows!! haha

I can't even pick up the lyrics to the new bit of the snippet. She needs to sing more clearly sometimes.

LOL, I was listening to it over and over and my friend, who's from Texas btw, says, "Is she singing in Australian or something?"

I have always said in the past that Delta needs more work on her breathing techiques and pronounciation. Also, most songs are jibberish the first time you hear them until you know the words... unless the music and singing is very, very clear

I don't she has much breathing technique issues. She does have minor enunciation issues but I find them really endearing, also some of them are really subtle accent affectations.

She hasn't been taught to breathe properly when she sings. If you listen to alot of her music, she will take a breath mid word, which doesn't sound nice. Delta should be able to take a quick breath where you would see the comma or fullstop, not break a word in two for a breath. If you are breathing properly during a song, you should barely be able to hear the breathing... if at all.

Mmmm, as a singer, I'd disagree. No, she doesn't breathe properly, but that doesn't mean she's never been taught. All singers are taught to breathe properly at some point in their life, unless of course they've never had a voice lesson which is HIGHLY unlikely, but if you're breathing mid-word, yet having the power and control she does, it's not a breathing issue - it's a stylistic choice. I don't always like what she does by interrupting words with a breath, but that's a stylistic choice because she's proven she can hold notes for awhile - if she couldn't, then THAT'S a breathing issue.

I havent posted to the forum for years, but the snippet sounds great. I have no idea what the album is going to sound like though - I have a feeling that its going to be a mixture of IE & Delta, pop but with a optomistic, bright edge - a sort of poppier version of IE. Its going to be really interesting, but I wouldnt be surprised it most of the album was written last year.

She has definitely been taught - she was a Jaanz student. They have a very good technique. It just appears to me that delta may have lost some of her technique. However her pronunciation of words has been the same since day dot!!!

Hearing the song...brought tears to my eyes. It is so beautiful. I've played it on repeat on Youtube about 50 times now. I Just love it. The harmony..the 'no one but youuuuuu!! No one but youuu!! oh oh oh" etc. I've even picked up the lyrics a bit. It is amazing. It is clearly a 'totally in love' song. I first heard it yesterday. I left the forum because I got out of her and was tired of waiting, but when I heard the news. (might've been two days ago, not yesterday). I felt my interest in her renewing again. It sounds fantastic. I do miss the piano though!!

If it's true, then THAT'S AMAZING! I graduate on Wednesday, so it'd be AWESOME to hear the new song the next day.
