I don't think that was Deltas best performance...average tbh, she's still not cracking the 'heal' part in the 3rd verse :(

Thanks for posting. A decent performance, but definitely not my favourite. The ending however, was my favourite end to the song out of all the live performances of it so far. I do wish that they'd shown ITL. I was really looking forward to that.

I still really dislike hearing SOTOTW live... The first half as per usual wasn't good, the last half and ending were brilliant.

^ EXACTLY my thoughts... It's like two different songs being performed and delta isn't quite sure what style to go for. The ending was amazing and she sounded brilliant! I think for the majorty of the song it's like delta sings knowing in her head 'urgh I've got that difficult bridge/high note to sing and I don't like it' and once she's got past the 'hear' note she let's go and enjoys it!

But I don't think it's a great song live - not in how delta sings it but just overall. But that's my personal opinion.

I hate this song live. It just doesn't work live for me, for some reason...it always seems all over the place, and I haven't seen a live performance of it that I've liked thus far.

However, she looks absolutely beautiful! Wish we'd gotten to see ITL. :(

Sometimes she screams a bit too much in the SOTOTW live performances...IMO(!)

She actually chose not to hit it this time- which was probably wise concerning she's had trouble getting it in previous performances. Instead, she lowered it to a note she felt comfortable hitting.

Overall, quite a good performance- still a little pitchy in some places, but not as much as the Logies IMO.
Would love to see ITL. :(

EDIT:
I know it's her signature thing, but would she go better if she wasn't playing the keyboard? Maybe if she was focusing on her vocals it might come out better- especially when she's going to be standing and dancing. I think she sings better playing the piano (like an ACTUAL piano, not a keyboard) while she's sitting down. Every song on the BA tour was fantastic- what the hell is with this promo tour? It's not going to help prevent all the criticism coming out.

She is sick. At the Swisse launch last week, she told us she had a cold.

Thanks for posting Artin, I thought it was a good performance Delta looked good sang well what more could we ask for, worth mentioning a live performance in an open field can sometimes not appear to sound as good as it is . just an opinion

So much criticism! I thought it was great...

I did too! I don't care if every line isnt pitch perfect or she doesn't go for the high note that a lot of people are obsessed over, it was enjoyable to watch and I loved seeing her perform again! And I thought she looked absolutely stunning :wub:
