Nick and Delta have decided mutually to end their relationship. At this point in time, they are both focused on their careers as they go on different paths. They remain friends and wish each other the best for the future. There will be no further comments regarding this matter.

DELTA Goodrem has enlisted the skills of the same music manager that launched the career of Rihanna as she prepares to release her first album in close to five years.

The Believe Again songstress – who at last count had sold five million albums worldwide – has signed up with New York-based Marc Jordan, owner of the Rebel One management company that gave Ri Ri and other mostly R’n'B artists their start.

“We had a meeting and we just hit it off right away – he’s a great guy,” Goodrem told Confidential.

“He’s going to come out here next week.”

After splitting with fiance Brian McFadden last year, Goodrem also parted ways with her long-term manager, ex-Sony Music publicist Jo Grogan, who now solely looks after McFadden.

Goodrem’s choice to partner with Jordan – who Rihanna replaced with Jay-Z’s Roc Nation Management in 2010 following a string of hits – reflects talk that her upcoming fourth studio album will have a “much different” sound to her other efforts.

“I’ve had it finished for so long and I’ve been inviting people over to my house to listen to it so I can ask what they think,” she said. “I just can’t wait to get it out there.”

Celeb blogger Perez Hilton has already given some of the material his tick of approval.

While the name and the release date of the album are yet to be revealed, the first single is likely to debut on Nine’s The Voice, which starts filming next week with Goodrem, Seal, Keith Urban and Joel Madden as the “coaches”.

Goodrem is still dating Nick Jonas, who is currently appearing on Broadway.

Delta attended the David Jones Autumn/Winter 2012 season launch at the David Jones Elizabeth Street Store on February 15.

Songbird Delta Goodrem was also in attendance, with the LA-based singer showing off a slender new bod.

Teetering over to Confidential in a pair of Christian Louboutin heels, Goodrem – who will begin shooting The Voice next week – revealed the secret to her sleek new look.

“I’m in training. I’m back to working out. It’s just what happens when you go back to work,” she laughed, adding that her hunky toy-boy beau Nick Jonas didn’t make the trip.

“I had a beautiful dinner with my mum (on Valentine’s Day). She’s a pretty hot date,” Goodrem said.

David Jones Autumn Winter 2012 Fashion Launch, Sydney – February 15

Delta arrived at Sydney airport today to prepare for The Voice which starts filming this coming Sunday, with the show expected to air some time in April.

Delta will be a coach on Channel 9′s upcoming The Voice alongside Keith Urban, Seal and Joel Madden. A promo for the show was released last week.

Delta was spotted leaving Gotye’s concert at the El Rey Theatre on February 2 with friends Renee Bargh and Guy Sebastian in Los Angeles.

Delta was on Weekend Sunrise this morning to wish longtime friend Molly Meldrum a happy birthday all the way from New York. Delta relived some favourite memories with Molly and wished him well.

The newest issue of Who Magazine has released Delta’s first promo shot for The Voice. Delta says, “Keith and Seal are very funny … Everyone is very funny and knowledgeable about music. I think everyone is going to really enjoy it.”

The Voice will launch on Channel Nine very soon. Delta will be filming some pre-recorded live shows end of february in Sydney.

Delta attended the opening of the new Louis Vuitton Maison in Sydney last night. It’s the 13th Maison for Louis Vuitton and the first one in Australia. The Sydney store is located on George Street. WHEN Delta Goodrem was diagnosed with cancer at just 18, she needed more than love and support to survive Hodgkin’s lymphoma.

Goodrem said she found it in people she calls “angels” – the doctors and nurses from St Vincents Hospital plus the researchers who tirelessly look for answers to all forms of cancer, which affects one in three Australian families.

The singer she wore a fluoroscent vest and hard-hat to inspect a breakthrough 11-storey medical centre being built in Darlinghurst, which will customize patient treatment instead of the one-drug-fits-all approach which doesn’t always work.

She is now the ambassador of the new Kinghorn Centre.

“I wanted to be the patron of this centre and was honoured when asked,” she told assembled staff and builders at the joint Garvan Institute and St Vincent’s Hospital project which opens in June.

“It’s something so phenomenal and evolutionary, and the fact we will have such an amazing and incredible facility here in Sydney is so important to me.

“To have such a personal connection, and fact that the actual centre is about personalised medicine is truly incredible.”

Her cancer doctor John Moore said the singer has yearly check-ups eight years after diagnosis and that her support was vital.

“It’s important because she has had a personal journey through cancer, and that’s the focus of this centre,” he said.

“You can’t get a better ambassador who has pushed through cancer and been so brave, considering the public profile she has.”

Delta performed at last night’s Starry Starry Night gala held at Melbourne’s Crown Casino. The event raised over 1 million for the The Alannah and Madeline Foundation. Delta performed a few songs including a medley of In This Life, Born To Try and Lost Without You. She also threw in a few bars of Beyonce’s Single Ladies.

Despite confirmation from Sony Music Australia and auspOp, according to The Daily Telegraph, Delta is set to rock the stage at tonight’s ARIA Awards. Pictured above is Delta rehearsing for her appearance at the show. “Despite reports Goodrem was overlooked for tonight’s ceremony, The Sunday Telegraph can reveal she has spent weeks fine-tuning her special appearance.”

Emotional and frail following months of cancer treatment, Delta Goodrem was too weak to take to the stage when she won a record-breaking seven ARIA Awards in 2003.

But the resilient singer said she was going to more than make up for that tonight when she gives a rousing performance to mark the 25th anniversary of the Australian music industry’s awards night.

Despite reports Goodrem was overlooked for tonight’s ceremony, The Sunday Telegraph can reveal she has spent weeks fine-tuning her special appearance.

“I love the ARIAs so much, they mean so much to me because I’ve had such incredible moments with them over the years,” the 27-year-old said backstage during rehearsals on Friday night.

“There is some special thing in the works that I’ve been working with ARIA on for a little while. I’m really looking forward to it.”

Goodrem was just a few months into treatment for Hodgkin’s lymphoma when she made a rare public appearance to attend the 2003 ceremony and collect gongs including best female artist, breakthrough artist and best pop release.

Extremely sick, she couldn’t perform but good friend Darren Hayes stepped in with a heart-wrenching rendition of her hit, Lost Without You. It’s a moment she said she would never forget.

“I still can’t even talk about that 2003 year without crying, I still well up,” Goodrem said.

“It’s one of the most special moments in my life, even though it was so intense and I felt so many emotions, looking back on that was so incredible. I can’t fathom the support that I had at that time and the feeling that I wanted to give back to everybody. I’m forever grateful for that moment in time.”

Goodrem, who has won a total of 10 ARIA Awards including being voted artist of the decade, returned home from her Los Angeles base earlier this month and was last week announced as a judge on Nine’s new reality singing show, The Voice.

The Sun Herald is reporting that Delta will be performing at tonight’s Starry Starry Night gala at Melbourne’s Crown Casino.

HER husband might be sporting royalty, but it will be Chiara Passerini’s turn to soak up the spotlight and put on a show for Princess Mary at tonight’s Starry Starry Night gala.

Passerini, married to Tour de France winner Cadel Evans, will sing at the star-studded event at Crown, which raises funds for the Alannah and Madeline Foundation.

Princess Mary and her husband, Prince Frederik, will be among the 1200 guests.

Lord Mayor Robert Doyle and his wife, Emma Page Campbell, had considered singing at the dinner but had a change of heart this week.

However, a host of other well-known names, including Delta Goodrem, Julia Morris and Manu Fieldel, will perform.

Passerini, a pianist and music teacher, will perform When Love Takes Over.

“I have music in my blood. Hopefully I won’t chicken out,” she said.

However, Evans won’t be attending, owing to a prior commitment.

Hilton Hotel Opening in Surfers Paradise, QLD – November 16

Delta performed at the Presidents Cup Gala Dinner at Crown Casino in Melbourne on November 15. Delta performed four songs: In This Life, Born To Try, Natural Woman and The Prayer.

The Presidents Cup is a series of men’s golf matches between a team that represents the United States and an International Team that represents the rest of the world (not including Europe). There is no prize money awarded, rather the proceeds are given to charities nominated by the players, captains and captains’ assistants.

DELTA Goodrem, who turned 27 this week, has sung the praises of new boyfriend 19-year-old American musician Nick Jonas.

Goodrem downplayed their age difference, saying: “I’m really lucky to have such a wonderful person in my life. I’m in a really happy place right now. I feel very blessed.”

The pair may share songwriting credits on Goodrem’s new album, due early next year.

“We’ve written lots of songs together,” Goodrem said of Jonas, who sold millions as part of Disney band the Jonas Brothers. “I’m proud to be writing with him.”

Goodrem flew into Melbourne yesterday to perform at tonight’s Presidents Cup gala dinner at Crown.

She will also open the Hilton Surfers Paradise on Wednesday and appear at the ARIA Awards on November 27, which will screen on Go!

The singer, who has won 10 ARIAs and sold more than five million albums worldwide, is still uncertain if she will perform at the ARIAs.

“There are lots of possibilities,” she said. “I’m just excited to be back for the 25th anniversary of the ARIAs and to celebrate Australian artists.”

Goodrem also revealed she was strongly considering joining Channel 9′s version of hit US talent show The Voice.

Seal, Keith Urban and Joel Madden have also been tipped to join the judging panel.

“I’m a fan of the show and we have been talking but nothing is confirmed,” Goodrem said.

After a career-boosting appearance on the US Dancing With The Stars this year, Goodrem’s new album will get a global push.

“The album is finished, so I look forward to releasing new music right out of the gate next year,” she said. “I’m feeling a lot of support overseas, so I’m looking forward to bringing that out around the world. I can’t wait to share the new music.”

ARIA organisers have poured cold water on rumours Delta Goodrem will do a duet with Kylie Minogue at this year’s awards.

While both are confirmed guests, a spokeswoman said there was “absolutely no truth” in whispers the Aussie songbirds would warble together for the 25th anniversary show in Sydney at the end of the month.

Goodrem, who was last year named artist of the decade at the Arias with Guy Sebastian, will be performing a new song at the show.

It is not clear whether Goodrem will be bringing her young beau Nick Jonas with her to the event, which will also be attended by her former fiance Brian McFadden.
